Diagnostic and Repair Labor: $150 per hour
A one-hour minimum applies. After the first hour, labor is billed in 15-minute increments.

The service-call fee covers dispatch and travel. It does not include diagnostic or repair labor, parts, materials, campground fees, tolls, or other access expenses.

The $100 service-call fee includes travel within 50 driving miles of Milton, Florida.

Locations more than 50 driving miles from Milton are charged $1 per additional mile, calculated one way. Any additional travel charge will be disclosed before the appointment is confirmed.

For example, a service location 70 driving miles from Milton would have a $120 service-call and travel charge: the $100 service call plus 20 additional miles at $1 per mile.

Campground entry fees, tolls, paid parking, ferry charges, and other unusual access expenses are the customer’s responsibility and will be disclosed when known.

Return Visits

Service-call and applicable travel charges apply to each scheduled visit, including return visits required because:

  • Parts must be ordered

  • Additional repairs are requested

  • The original work could not be completed because of access or site conditions

  • The reported problem is unrelated to Mayday’s original work

Service-call, travel, and labor charges will be waived when a return visit is required solely to correct a problem confirmed to be covered by Mayday’s workmanship warranty.

Workmanship Warranty

Mayday RV Repair & Inspection warrants its repair and installation workmanship for 90 days from the date the work is completed.

If a problem is confirmed to have resulted directly from Mayday’s workmanship, Mayday will correct the affected workmanship without additional labor or service-call charges.

The customer must notify Mayday within the 90-day warranty period and provide Mayday a reasonable opportunity to inspect and correct the original work.

The workmanship warranty does not cover:

  • Unrelated or pre-existing conditions

  • Normal wear, corrosion, deterioration, or lack of maintenance

  • Water intrusion originating outside the specific area repaired

  • Damage caused by storms, accidents, road hazards, freezing, pests, misuse, improper operation, or electrical problems

  • Work altered or repaired by another person after Mayday’s service

  • Failure, incompatibility, or performance of customer-supplied parts

Mayday does not reimburse work performed by another service provider unless Mayday approved the work in writing beforehand.

Additional travel charges may apply if the RV has been moved outside Mayday’s normal service area after the original repair. Any charge will be disclosed before the warranty visit is scheduled.

Parts Warranty

Parts supplied by Mayday may be covered by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, subject to the manufacturer’s terms, limitations, and claim approval.

Unless specifically authorized and paid by the manufacturer, a parts warranty does not cover diagnostic labor, removal, installation, shipping, service-call fees, or travel charges.

Customer-supplied parts do not carry a parts warranty from Mayday. Mayday does not guarantee the condition, compatibility, performance, or service life of customer-supplied parts.

Manufacturer and Extended-Warranty Work

Manufacturer, dealer, and extended-warranty repairs require authorization from the warranty provider before covered work begins.

Mayday may provide diagnostic findings, photographs, estimates, invoices, and supporting documentation. Mayday cannot guarantee that a warranty provider will approve or reimburse a claim.

Unless Mayday accepts written direct-payment authorization from the warranty provider, the customer is responsible for payment when service is completed.

The customer is responsible for:

  • Service-call and additional travel charges

  • Warranty deductibles

  • Diagnostic time not authorized by the warranty provider

  • Labor or parts exceeding the approved amount

  • Repairs excluded or denied by the warranty provider

  • Return visits not included in the authorization

No work exceeding the authorized amount will be performed without the customer’s approval.

Estimates, Authorization and Payment

Customers will receive an estimate or explanation of anticipated charges before repair work begins.

Additional work or charges exceeding the approved amount require customer authorization. Payment is due when service is completed unless other arrangements have been approved in writing.
